Hex is going to hate me for this one, but I just bought me an iPhone 3G. The touchscreen takes a bit of getting used to, but after a while it becomes second nature.

Sounds like a list MacGyver or the A-Team would put to use. :p

Anyways, last things I bought was a pair of Scythe Ultra Kaze's, a Swiftech MCW-4870 and a 500GB Western Digital Black (32MB cache) HDD after a drunken early hours braiding session led to my 750GB Samsung F1 and backup Hitachi drives being reduced to doorstops....

I hadn't read it that way, but yes. Yes it does :D It's actually the majority of the parts needed for a ghillie suit.

How in the hell did you cause hdd death when drunk?

Came back from the pub and (foolishly) decided to braid a molex to 2x SATA power cable. Obviously I douched something in the process so when I plugged them in and pressed the power button I got a puff of smoke and 2 dead HDD's....

    Dont drink and braid kids.

Only all my music, holiday, family and project log pictures, text and word documents, game saves and application settings.... So yeah, pretty much all of it. :/

Thank god I was pressured into creating a photobucket account, managed to salvage a few back from there. And I suppose it gives me a good reason to play through HAWX again. :p

You can probably still retrieve the data. The circuit board is the thing that will be fried, if you can find the same model (try ebay) you could try swapping the circuit boards and it may just work and you can salvage your data.

Last night I took the girlfriend out for dinner - all you can eat at our local / favorite oriental restaurant.

If your in the area it's worth checking out (Pulborough, W.Sussex). All you can eat is about £12 for starters and main courses, although dessert is paid for separately.

    All well worth it though

(Sorry if linking it is against forum rules - I'm only recommending it :))

Bought myself a Sapphire HD4870 Toxic last night, very happy indeed. After two months relying on Baldurs Gate II for all my gaming due to a broken 9800GTX, I can finally play some 3d games again.
