I saw many a film grad fetching breakfast/lunch/dinner and transporting pcs from office to office. I think there must be some sort of hazing in affect in those places.

An Aston Martin DB5 Airfix kit. It's probably the closest I'll get to owning a real Aston, so I had to buy it.

 

Minolta Magicolor 2200 color laser printer

Guy on Craigslist had it advertised with "Any reasonable offer will be considered". I emailed him to ask what constituted a reasonable offer. He said the printer had been given to him by a friend and that he had previously listed it for $100, but now he just wanted it out of his garage. I offered him $35 and he took it!

You know a piece of gear is heavy when it has built in lifting handles! This thing is something like 8 cubic feet and weighs over 100 pounds. Freakin awesome machine!

I'm waiting to hear back from another guy who has a dual Athlon MP server for sale for $30. Would be just the excuse I need to finally upgrade my fileserver!
