Are you a glutton for punishment? :eyebrow: Microsoft has never released an OS that's worked until at least SP2.

Well like many people atm I'm running painlessly on Win7, with no issues whatsoever.

I seem to remember 2k working quite nicely long before SP2.

    This. :D

I recommend torchlight to all my gaming friends...and they have all bought it.

If you get it from teh devs website its $20, so £12 via paypal! Cheaper than steam by £3 and the devs get all the monies. :)

Just sold my iMac and made a nice profit!

    I have ordered the following:

    AMD Phenom II X2 550
    ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO (unlocking cheesecake)
    Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1600MHz 4GB CL9
    NZXT Beta
Chieftec Super Series PSU 650W Modular
    Samsung Syncmaster T220
    Sony optical drive

I already have a 500gb seagate sata drive and Msi 9800gt oc card.
I wont buy a new gpu until the price drops on the current radeon cards, or the impending nvidia launch!

The cool thing is, that with the money I made from selling the iMac I still have some left!

Cant wait! should be right in time for the lan I will be attending this weekend!

Case O' beer. 24 OZ. Miller Genuine Draft x 24!

Rabies and some other shot for the Cavalier King Charles puppy. All done until yearly checkup. 3 years on Rabies shot. She was 5.2 pounds at 8 weeks - 13.6 pounds now. Probably hit 18 to 24 pounds. All healthy. Puppy teeth like a Piranha. They should be gone in another month or two. Hope springs anew.

    - Razer Lachesis mouse

Mini preliminary review of the Razer Lachesis

As long as Razer keep making quality stuff like this, I will keep advocating for them. Sure, they may be somewhat expensive, but sometimes you have to pay a bit more just for that extra hint of exclusivity.

The build quality is phenomenal, and upon opening the box you immediately know that this is not some run-of-the-mill bog-standard mouse that you might just as well have bought at the gas station. The Lachesis - although itself becoming an "older" model - will replace my now aging First Edition Copperhead (yes, first edition - it is in fact printed on the top of the mouse, just below the glowing Razer logo). Having always loved the feel of the Copperhead I was curious as to how the new model felt compared to the old one, and I was not disappointed.

I did have to get used to the Copperhead when switching from the Diamondback, but going from the Copperhead to the Lachesis was a step up in terms of comfort. It just feels like the mouse molds itself into the palm of my hand, and not the other way around. The buttons seem to conform to my fingers, suck them in and keep them firmly positioned for pin-point clicking accuracy. And then there's the way this thing moves across it's surface - it slides soundlessly with only the tiniest hint of friction, as if it was being suspended by a dense layer of dry ice. It is absolutely sublime.

And then there's the way it looks. It's been crafted in good, solid plastic painted flat black, and the razer logo still glowing on it's back is no longer flashing, and has been integrated into the housing itself - it's a part of the whole, and not something they might have put in later. The two front buttons are also part of the body itself, and while this makes it hard to swap them for new ones when/if the no-slip layer is worn away, it makes for a much sleeker design. And while the clicks themselves are fairly loud (the only complaint I can find with this mouse), the scroll wheel is smooth to the point of it being an erotic experience in use, and it too clicks easily. Also the two buttons behind the scroll wheel makes it easy to change it's resolution on the fly. And finally, it looks absolutely spectacular on top of my black Second Edition Icemat.

I can't wait to try it out for fragging.
