Tasty. I've been after one of those for a while, although after the current issue of CPC I may change my mind and get the new one.

Carrots, celery, potatoes, beef tips, rice, cabbage, radishes, canned broth, and diced almonds.

Gonna throw it in a crock pot and have some stew tomorrow. Yes, some of the ingredients are a little unique.

That sounds absolutely del.icio.us :D I just instantly became hungry!

    [edit]

You made me so hungry I went out and bought:

    1/2 Pound Mince
    Punnet of cherry tomatoes
    Red & Green Peppers
    Onions
    Buitoni Spaghetti
    Lloyd Grossman Bolognese sauce
Bottle of red wine (McGuigans Black Label 2008)
    Cuisine de France crusty baguette

Guess what's for dinner ;) I'm at home alone tonight, I skipped lunch and Sloth's post made me hungry, so I'm treating myself to a stupid size portion of my own Spaghetti Bolognese. I'd tell you what I use to season the mince, but I'd have to kill you... :D Now if you'll excuse me, I have to, err... Om nom nom

Seeing the reaction the basic ingrediends has gotten I'll elaborate on why I think that stew is worth mentioning to you all... I have a trick! Chop up and place all the ingredients into the pot with some water and broth, let it sit around for several hours to soften everything up and let the water soak. Once everything's gotten to the point where it would normally be done you have one more step. Take some extra potatoes, radishes, and even carrots then boil and mash them. I like to add horseradish sauce and garlic to this blend. Now put this mash into the stew, stir it around a good bit and let it cook awhile longer. If you made a lot of mash, or started with too little broth/water then you may need to add more water or broth if you have any. You essentially end up with a thick and somewhat pasty mush of flavor. If you added mash and still have trouble with thickness, add sour cream. Makes it somewhat like a stroganoff at that point.

Oh and I "purchased" a free upgrade phone today.

Sony Ericcson MW600 bluetooth headphone adapter/radio thingy.

Pros - No more fiddly, flaky port adapter or leaky, temperamental neckband head[phones|set]; I can use my nice in-ear 'phones with it.

Cons - I have pendrives bigger than this thing.

I just decided I was tired of my Microsoft Reclusa. I think tomorrow morning I will go shop for a Logitech G110. I might also consider changing my good old Everglide Titan Fnatic, which is a little worn out... I love this pad so much though
