Just back from Apple, and I also called into the Tommy shop whilst I was down there (I actually posted my last reply from a 15" MBP in the Apple store. WANT

Got myself:

- Apple universal dock - I already had one of the older ones for my iPod but my new 3GS case, the Switcheasy torrent, comes with dock adapters so you can dock & sync without taking the cover off so I got myself another universal dock so I can do this.
- iKlear cleaning kit
- Kensington windscreen iPhone/iPod holder
- Apple Magic Mouse

And from the Tommy shop I got myself a new stripey shirt.

 

Bought myself more stuff for my tank:
1 last bag of fine sand
2 bits of bog wood
Glo t5 Balast
2* Glo T5 light tubes.

I hope to start filling the tank up either this weekend or next week, with stock introduction next month.

Total: too much €, about 6TB of space on two servers, expandable to 12TB using identical drives

You'll be sorry, the "Director's Cut" has been announced for June 30th.

 

I take it you find the Highpoint controllers to be quite good? Have you tried the online expansion or RAID migration features? I am planning on getting one for my media server to start with 3 drives in RAID 5 and keep adding as I can afford/need them.
