400.30 carats of emeralds and sapphires (this is not a joke,) a new Callet leadpipe for the trumpet build, a new convertible mouthpipe, brass sheet, screws, epoxy, valve oil, and parts for my stalled mod-had to wait on cash.

Will post pics on arrival. Proof is needed for extraordinary claims.

A wake up light? Hows that working for you? I've been considering getting one for a while.

    My theory test..

I shouldn't be that nervous about it, seeing as half the people who pass are total imbeciles, but still.. *gulp*

Don't be nervous, unless the theory test has changed a LOT since I started driving, it's really simple and easy to pass.

    [edit]

Come to think of it, that's coming up on 6 years ago. It could have changed a lot. Damnit I feel old :grr:

As long as you have read the highway code you will do fine, most of it's just common sense.

Just won a Lian Li V350 in mint condition for £62.50 posted, a good £20-25 off RRP so i'm happy. Will be a nice little home for the mATX media PC i'll be building to replace this one.

Just bought a Cowon J3 to replace my 2-year-old Sony Walkman. I'm a bit apprehensive about it as I couldn't find many reviews for it, but it looks so damn awesome.

I think the J3 is the sort of replacement of the S9, which was a very popular player. They are supposed to be awesome and if you go to audiophile forums they will very often recommend Cowon products.

Yeah I nearly bought the S9 last year but I didn't think it would be much of an upgrade and the UI looked quite clunky. Now I'm finding that I really want FLAC support and this is one of the few players on the market which has it (as well as a micro SD slot for expandable memory so I have the space for it), plus the new UI looks much improved.
