Did those come with authenticity certificates from a UK authorised autograph dealer, like AFTAL? My local autograph dealer is an AFTAL authorised dealer (AFTAL dealer #56) with over 20 years experience in selling autographs and original movie props, and has told me on many occasions that an autograph bought in the UK without an AFTAL hologram on the back and accompanying certificate isn't worth s**t. I own a total of 15 autographed pieces bought through TB M&M, and John (the owner) is a good friend of mine and is always on the look out for more of the autographs that I want.

 

I have over 100 autographed photos of actors from Babylon 5/Star Trek/Stargate/Firefly/Buffy/etc.

I know all are genuine, because they were signed in front of me.

 

Autograph collecting =/= autograph hunting, so well done sir! Only a handful (4 actually) of my own autographs were signed by the actor/actress/performer in person

 

I don't see the point of autographs unless they are done in front of you and made out to you.

Surely its the point that you met them thats cool and not the name on a piece of paper/cd/t-shirt etc...

On a related note - my sister met Iron Maiden in Dulles airport and all she had to get them to sign was a copy of the National Enquirer .

I was at work when she told me and I was so jealous I couldn't concentrate all day.

 

Tell that to the dude who offered me more than 3 times what I paid for my Quentin Tarantino signed photo just a fortnight after I got it.

 

I'm waiting for my signed FFAF EP. Ordered it in May and it's meant to be released next month
