What are the benches on the Revolution compared to the 1000W Corsair?

The revolution out-performs the Corsair HX1000 in both efficiency and stability (I assume that's the Corsair unit you're referring to) but only just, and I am not sure if there's any merit to the claim, but I have heard mention that Seasonic provide the circuitry for both these PSUs, in which case Enermax are capable of making a more efficient and stable unit than Corsair with the same circuitry. Don't quote me on that, I read it on another hardware forum and I only ever recommend or use power supplies based on benchamrks which the CPC team carry out on them personally and which I read in the CPC magazine.

I know this is for a different model, but it gives you a good idea of what I'm talking about. The efficiency on the 1050W unit should be as near as makes no difference the same as the 950W model.

Don't get me wrong, I love Corsair HX PSUs and use them even more often than Enermax Revolution models (main brands that I use for PSUs in order of popularity: Corsair, Enermax, Seasonic, Tagan, Antec Quattro) but when you get down to the nitty gritty details, the Enermax is the better PSU.

Why do you need 1050W of power Kovoet? Pretty awesome PSU anyway. :)

REALLY cheap. I've used a couple of Razer's mice and tbh they don't match this in terms of ergonomics. There are 3 DPI settings. 5 well placed buttons not including the DPI button. Nice weight nice grippy easy to keep clean finish and a.....well, different design that some may not like, I think it's alright.

    Next up a new keyboard.

I use a 1050W Enermax PSU in one of my machines and it's barely enough. Are you implying that he'll never need all that power because he'll never have a PC that has such a high power requirement? That's silly. I could be doing with a 1200W Revolution, because the next time I add another (final) card to my machine, it'll need it.

Thanks Uni! I guess I'll be getting the Enermax for my upcoming mod instead of the Corsair. And yes, I do need all the powah!
