    I'm actually trying to get it made into a chopper-a-like (motorbike seat and long handlebars so I can reach them) then spraying it chrome, so the basket will be no more :p

    Ok, so, not really a purchase, but I *GOT* a notebook for free.

    12" MSI, CoreDuo era, perfectly functional except for the motherboard not recognising the Celeron CPU that was in it. Was given to me for parts (have the same exact model). Decided to test it with a space CoreDuo CPU I had - works!
    So, now I have two :D (and that's not even counting my Thinkpad :D)
    Sure, the battery is shot and is at most a tiny UPS, and it does heat up quite a lot - but that's easily solved with a hardcover book under it.
    Yay!
