Kick-Ass on BluRay

 

Amazon Airfix Kits do come with the required paints. Though with my painting skills my Mustang P51-D now looks like a white plane and i've sneezed on it.

 

I bought the kit in Smyths actually. I'm currently addicted to collecting the LEGO Minifigures and just thought to buy one of these when I was in there. It comes with the glue, double-headed brush and 3 paints. Not bad for €10.

 

Got the Surge and kit. That cord thingy is my doing, bit kit comes with two separate bit holders that are a PITA to dig out from belt pouch. Now its wee bit easier to pull out, holders stay together and the pull loop goes under pouch flap when not needed.

Gotta get my hands on a camera to snap a photo or two of the new desk.

A 50-ft CAT6 Ethernet cable for my dorm room. The ethernet jacks are on the other side of the room and the dorm's wi-fi blows. Now i'm living the life. It's almost as good as the internet back home. >_<

 

Finished 8 out of the 10 parts, have to say the blu-ray really makes it so much more enjoyable with real crisp lines and surround sound gun fire and bombs going off left right and centre.

 

Airfix are still going, no questioning that. Airfix is now part of Hornby, along with Scalextric, Corgi, Hornby International (Arnold, Lima, Jouef & Rivarossi) & Humbrol.

M16 solid stock, some heatsinked grip ends, and another 8.4v battery.

 

Big expectations for the thing, I only have time to set up and do OS reinstall in the weekend.

 

Seagate 500GB Barracuda HD, never use more than that so didn't splurge on something huge. End of my computer woes...for now.

 

A Logitech V220 notebook wireless mouse to replace my old G7. If you ask me the question, no I never used this G7 as a notebook mouse lolll

 

Literally just got my F60 the other day and the thing is OBSCENELY QUICK.

I run OS X and the boot time after all the updates etc was 19 seconds. The time to load the actual OS off the drive I timed at 5 seconds. Being completely throttled by hardware now!

 

Same as got it pre-ordered on amazon, Got band of brothers on dvd when it was first out with the special dvd collectors tin, then got the bluray. My grandad use to tell me how realistic it was with emotion but couldnt surpass the longest day as that was the first film he saw after d-day that was so realistic to make him cry (his words). So can't wait for it's sister series 'the pacific' although i've read it has a focus more on fighting than effects of war
