Quite different from what they have done in the past, a good attempt at a concept album.

 

Civ V. I've never played civ before, but the demo got me hooked.

It sounds like the producers took the little balls they had left after "Minutes to Boredom" and ripped them off, stuck them in his pockets, and squeezes them every now and again. This is NOT Linkin Park, this is random pop rock. And bad at that as well.

I saw them live in '05 and they blew my mind. Saw them again '07 and they played acoustic versions of their songs. Even ****ing "One Step Closer"! One of the most disappointing performances ever. And the music they're making... that's not progressing, that's just depressing.

//edit: Oh wait... you said "a good attempt at a concept album", that makes sense. If the concept was "how do we kill a band's reputation and make them sound like a generic gay pop rock band", that is.

We just bought a 40cm Lightning McQueen Drifting BMX and Lightning McQueen helmet

How do we know it's a drift BMX? Well duh, it says so on the stickers and crash padding covers

 

Personally, I do think they began quite well. Songs like One Step Closer or Crawling from Hybrid Theory or Faint and Nobody's Listening from Meteora. And of course Cure For The Itch and Session.
Sure they never were founders of a new genre or lead some kind of development into new hemispheres of art but they did a good job and they really knew how to perform.

There is a reason why their sales have gone down, down, down.

Anyway, in the end it comes down to taste and they just degraded over time. At least in my eyes. My taste changed as well, but there wasn't a single second in my life in which I would've liked any song on the latest album.

I bought 14 months of Xbox live (12 months + 2 free, halo reach promotion card.) and 2100 xbox live points.

I spent all my points (2200, I had 100 still on my account) and used my XBL Gold subscription card. Then my xbox got stolen a week later. I am not totally sure if I'll be able to redownload the DLC
