    I think it's one of the most underrated. I never got a grip (heh :p) because I just never felt I needed it. Then my grandmother sent me money and I decided to get a grip and a spare battery pack for the heck of it. I almost never take it off now - camera feels much nicer in the hands, I don't need to remove batts or recharge for 7-10 days, balances much better with any lens bigger/heavier than the 17-50.

    Aw shame, I got the XXL. I'm pretty lanky and it fits around me fine.

    And yes, yes we are.

    No, not in any way at all. The amount of cables it has attached is crazy, have a look:

    Oh yeah, and the Antec 900's cable routing ability is awful.

    I vaguely miss my old 500W ThermalTake with its more basic cabling :/

    @pookeyhead yup mb-d10

    Is one of the best purchases I've made. Improves the balance and handling hugely and the portrait controls are extremely handy. Didn't think the grip would make that much difference, but it really has improved the experience without purchasing an fx body with a built in grip.

    Sometimes when I write, I just let the flow of the words and information come out so much that I loose the purpose.
