No pics...but my Desire HD, and Tapatalk :) Might not seem like the best buy, but my other choice would have been a Sensation, and that would be £600 or so...I payed £270. I'm also on giffgaff...saving me even more :)

    Sent from my Desire HD

Just remembered to nab an ATX depinner with my order. Sure could use that for these custom connectors...

    Nice! Congrats!

Wish I had a full bike license...:sigh: 50cc scooters won't break any speed records (or speed limits for that matter)

I had a quick whizz about on an unrestricted naked model in the garage forecourt, god damn it was quick! Amazingly easy to ride too, I was terrified of dropping it but it was unbelievably stable, and the inline four engine is so smooooth.

What's stopping you getting your license?

Went out to buy a 50mm f/1.4, found out that prices have gone crazy in the past couple of weeks, ended up buying some booze instead.

iPad 2 64GB Wi-Fi. No matter what you say about Apple, it's truly a lovely lovely bit of kit. Uber fast and responsive. Makes my iPhone 3G feel like wading through treacle.

And world of goo on multitouch? Brilliant, I can play with my twins and smudge the screen with jammy fingerprints in a third of the time!

(And if anyone is interested, the £3 inc delivery silicone cases you can get from Amazon are brilliant for the money)

Yeah, I can imagine. Great sound from those as well. :)

What's stopping me? Economy, basically. It will cost me about 2500-3000£ just to get a license. Then I need to get a bike, and then insure it. Insuring a bike at my age could be pretty damn expensive. It's simply not worth it for something I can use for about 5 months a year. :sigh:

Just bought The Game of Thrones book as the first episode of the TV show interested me, also about to buy Portal 2. Sadly I'm not allowing myself to read/play either until my dissertation is finished and submitted :(

    £2500 for the license!?!?!

It cost me a bit over £500 to do all my tests and training!

£500 down on the bike with £150 per month, but I can pay more per month and reduce the cost. The horrid part was insurance (a touch over £1000) but I really want a bike and after that initial year, assuming no spills, it'll come down dramatically.

You've hit a lamp post now as well? I mean killing buses is all well and good, but an innocent and defenceless lamp post is a whole different ballpark.
