'Today's main headline; the ginger haired bus-killer strikes again. Not content with demolishing an entire bus simply by being near it, he brushed past a lamp post on a lightweight push bike and sent it flying down the street, killing several innocent bystanders and damaging significant amounts of public property. There is no news yet on the whereabouts of this serial wrecker.'

Yeah. Welcome to Norway - the country where economic rape by governments are the national sport. :duh: I did find a place where I could get a "packet price" for about 2200£, but that's if I use the absolute minimum of lessons. And I don't think that includes the final test. (The DMV hold those tests, not the schools)

The test for 50cc bikes will set you back about 600£. The tragic part is that I can drive a car with an unlimited top speed and engine size, I can drive a two wheel moped up to 50cc, but not a proper bike.

I can also drive any tractor or farm machinery as long as it's road legal (no weight limit), a snowmobile (no engine limit) even though I have never have any training on neither.

I wonder if it's legal for me to get my license in the UK and get it transferred. I could have a long vacation in the UK and still get it cheap...

Gargantuan stainless steel Barbecue and a lot of beer and meat - good times

Plane tickets to Vegas for a few weeks time - better times

Filled up both cars for the princely sum of £130 - bad times

Wow, that's ridiculous! Are the tests particularly hard or is the cost completely unjustified? The farm machinery and snowmobile bit does seem a tad stupid mind.

You won't be disappointed, they're great books. :thumb: Not quite up there with Night's Dawn but awesome nonetheless.

    A pair of Meelectronics M6P

Ordered for $19.99 including shipping on Amazon two days ago, they showed up yesterday at noon! Amazing..

They came with two different sizes of tri-flange tips, three sizes of normal ball-shaped tips, a pair of bi-flange tips, and a carrying case. The cable is fantastic, smoked grey semi-transparent and the silver-colored twisted cable can be seen through it. Feels very sturdy. The control button works flawlessly with my iPhone and the mic quality is good. They're plastic, but not flimsy at all and very comfortable with the large tri-flanges (pictured). I took a nap with them in on the train this morning :thumb:

Sound quality isn't quite to my taste, bass is a bit muddy and the highs are very rolled off.. But I guess I shouldn't expect more for just $20. Great for the gym, wouldn't use them for listening at home. The equalizer on my Sansa Clip solves some of this by toning down the bass and boosting treble by a couple db, but the iPhone sadly doesn't have this ability :(
