8 120x38MM fans for getting this 120x4 rad off the floor and into use.

Factory buyout, all cost me 39 dollars shipped. Metal casings, 140 CFM, 49dB. Bare ends for me to sleeve and solder them up like I want.

    That ***** gonna fly.

Niiice! Would love to see pics of that :)

Were they PC fans or industrial type fans? I assume because of the 38mm depth that they're industrial type ones, like the sort I used to replace on refrigeration systems that keep the refrigerant compressor cool during use. Those are some high current fans if that's the case :thumb:

Pfft, I want to hear that at full speed!

And my SSD arrived! These things are crazy small! And weigh nothing! But sadly no mobo so I can't use it just yet.

Not convinced yet though. May well see if my wife wants it, and I'll go back to my G5. Now I've spent some time with it, it seems too flat for me, and I can't seem to set speed an acceleration to something I feel comfortable with.

I had (have, actually) a G9 a while ago. I used it for a few months, but never really found it comfortable for some reason. Probably because it's too short. I tend to rest my palm on the mouse, and on the G9 the balm always seems to rest exactly where the back of the mouse stops.

They're industrial, yes. But I'm running a Silverstone Zeus. I THINK I can handle it.

Stick with the G5. That's what I did, and it's just an extension of my hand at this point :thumb:

Let me guess, too warm? I remember back at 33 (the last iSeries I was at :waah:) when the ambient temperature on the top floor of the Newbury grandstand was between 33 and 35 degrees on the Saturday evening. Hardware was dying all over the place... I even had to drop the overclocks back on my CPU and graphics cards so the LC system could handle keeping them cool. My rads were just sucking in warm air and nothing was getting any cooler. I remember coolant temps for both my loops being ridiculously high compared to normal operating conditions.

9 Jackie Chan DVD's from eBay for £15, total bargain as I've seen the Police Stories and Operation Condor's go for over £5 each.

    The Medallion,
    Rumble in the Bronx,
Police Story 1, 2, 4 (New Police Story),
Operation Condor 1, 2 (Armour of God),
    Who am I?,
    Mr Nice Guy,
