    Ha! I've finally managed to wangle a Dell U3011 v.A06 from work.

    There's so much room for activities!

    1/4ct Art Deco style Diamond Solitaire ring for the wife to make up for lack of engagement ring before we got married 6 months ago and to fulfil an IOU I left the day before heart surgery.

    Collect in a couple of weeks as it's being resized :D:D

    Just got this home;

    Triumph Spitfire by rinsewand, on Flickr

    Needs a bit of work doing, and some minor issues sorting but its not in bad condition. Twin exit exhaust makes it obnoxiously loud...

    Awesome!

    Used to have a Spitfire 1500, easily the slowest car I've ever driven, but at the same time felt the fastest if that makes sense (60mph felt more like you were moving at 100mph)

    I'd love to get one as a project, there's some build logs of V8 engine transplants which ticks all the boxes!

    Sweet! :thumb: I used to have a Herald 13/60 convertible many years ago, by far the best car I've ever owned. Always put a smile on my face every drive.

    Nice buy! Mind if I ask where you got it from? I've been eyeing up a couple of portable soldering irons - this one got good reviews, as did the power probe kit "PPSK". I think this one is slightly better though.

    Dafuq are they for anyway? ಠ~ಠ

    If the bodyshell throws you some unwelcome surprises of the metalworm variety, you could always turn it into one of these:-

    Urgh, why would you do that? Body panels are readily available for the Spitfire.

    Not at all, picked it up from maplin came in a box with some solder, different tips and spares. They also actually have the different tips as well i found. I was looking at the PPSK, Gascat120 and this, this won after having a play with a friends its actually very big and weighty but balanced nicely so you can detail solder on a low heat. Already used it do tin some 4AWG cables
