Really loving it - far better than an Ipod with regards to picture and sound quality.

That's the problem, I dont. I spent £80 of money from my parents for my Bday on the stuff I already bought and don't have enough for the rest of it :(

Am rather bored on this wonderful sunday afternoon (I love three day weekends), so what the hell:

    X-Files season 3
    The Silence Of The Lambs
Logitech LX710 wireless keyboard/laser mouse set
    320gig external HDD
    New computer (A64 3200, 512mb, 80gig, integrated everything else, for $40 though, I can't complain)
    And finally, Bob.

It's not very handy having no knees. What have you been feeding him, as it looks like he's off his head.

    Hoho and all that :)

I want one of those! Need something to hang a jacket on in my room, and a mannequin is just the right amount of bizarre - a coathanger is dull as anything but a dismembered and stuffed torso is a bit OTT :sigh:

At least you're not spending your textbook money on glass :worried: I could use a decent telephoto lens come to think of it. The old 52mm macro filtery things I picked up on eBay a long time ago to use with my P+S give surprisingly good results with my 400D (unlike the UV filter that got tossed in for free; the camera can't even focus with that piece of crap attached). Not quite true macro, but it takes the minimum focusing distance on the kit lens from about 18" down to maybe four-ish. For $20ish, you can't really go wrong.

Last thing I bought was a new Crumpler Pretty Boy XXXL bag for my Nikon d-slr. Verrah nice. I'd forgotten to take the price ticket off when the missus caught me in Woolies. "HOW MUCH?!"

I've only bought cheapo bags before, but thought I'd treat myself to a bit of luxury seeing as it'll be protecting some expensive kit.

I've yet to get any filters, may very well go for either a kit or at least an ND4, Polarising and UV.
