I bought an XBOX 360 HD VGA lead today, to run it off of my Acer F-19. TH Project 8 arrived in the post too.

The Mrs bought me the XBOX 360 Premium, along with CoD3/PGR3 as an early birthday present :)

My car's going in later this morning to have a [polished] stainless steel exhaust, and chromed back box [custom] fitted

The only drawback? The cost! It requires 6x bends in it, and they reckon it's gonna take 4 - 5 hours to weld/fit!
Total? In the region of £475 - £525 :jawdrop: And that's with me getting the parts at cost price!

The parts are actually relatively cheap. They should really cost a lot more!
The boss showed me the prices in their parts manuals... and he phoned an exhaust centre, to get a quote on a standard exhaust for my car (a 2.5 V6 Mitsubishi Legnum VR4 estate - shown a couple of pages back).
It's the man-hours/labour which cost a fortune :sigh: Given the cost of the parts for the exhaust, I reckon labour costs must be in the order of £70 - £75 an hour!
That soon mounts up on a job which is gonna take 4 - 5 hours

    Nonetheless... I'm not done yet!
Next on the list of 'upgrades', is an induction kit, a dump valve (my son has already 'acquired' one through his work (he's a mechanic) - so it just needs fitting), then finally servicing and tuning :naughty:

I dread to think what the final cost of all that is gonna be... but since it's my intention to hold onto this car until one of us gives up the ghost, I need to give 'er the TLC she deserves every now and then, and stay in her good books :D
