Are you using the client or trying to login via your browser?

    What is Viva Pinata?

Edit: OK, youtube shows it as really weird. I'll give it a miss.

Browser, do you reckon the client would work better?

Don't let the art direction fool you, it's actually a pretty engaging strategy game. I had it on the xbox and almost maxed out the achievements.

Does for me, had the same frustrations with the browser as you are having. No harm in trying it I guess?

I do remember the signup process being awful (Batman: AA).

What a palarva trying to get viva pinyata downloaded for my daughter to play on her pc.

Logged in to her windows live account which then told me she has to have an xbox live account, so I set her up with one of those, it then tells me because she is under 13 she needs parental approval so I have to add my xbox live account details.

Few I thought I can now actually purchase the game, it then tells me she can't buy games cos she is under 13 dooooooooooooh.

So I try to download it via my account but there isn't enough room on her hard drive so I direct it to download to her d: which does have enough space but nope still wont do it, loads of fiddling and regeditting later and still no dice so I'm now downloading it on my pc with the hope that I can copy it up to her pc via our network.

What a ball ache for a freakin 75p game.

I had the same problem. Found out that you need to log in to xbox live completely separately first in order to accept their new terms and conditions. Once you've done that the process is much easier. It was worth the effort for me cos it was Age of Empires III complete for 10MS points last week.

All these posts about GFWL is the reason I only game on Steam. These 75p games are tempting, but o m g the hassle you guys are having. Oh and my previous headaches with EA and GFWL.

    No thanks!!

This is pretty much my 1st issue with gfwl, well if you don't count the fact that I can't restore my save games for GTA4 after a reinstall of Windows even though I have followed the correct procedure to back up the original files, a process I have succesfully done several times previously.

Yes! Definitely for 75p, had loads of fun with it. It handles a little strangely coming from CoD or BC2 but stick with it for a couple of rounds, there's a couple of really fun maps.

I have had the same problem, Having to have an account for Warhammer. Took me a couple days to actually start playing as I only had a short time per day with computer access. Then when these sales started showing up I tried to buy it and had to jump through numerous hoops and sign up again for things (still the same account and I must have signed up for it like 3 or 4 times for various "extras") all to find out about 30 minutes later that I couldn't get it as it wasn't available in my region, Thanks for telling me when I first logged into the page with my account.
This is why Steam is on top. Sign up takes no time then that's it your ready, unless of course the games require you to sign up for their services as well :sigh:

Not really bargains, but it's steam and involves getting games. http://store.steampowered.com/treasurehunt

    Also
Looks like we'll still be getting a Christmas sale, and we know when it is, too.

Got Chime. Not so sure about Poker Night, tho... :)

Fun fact: Chime was only 1€, so it's one of those rare offers where there's no Euro tax... :p
