Multi Latest Steam & General Gaming Bargains: Read first post!

For me, ZiiP is actually the cheapest. Steam is a ripoff on new release and I never got an answer from ShopTo regarding shipping (all before the gamestore was set up by Jester, it's his business, not mine).

Just putting it out there for those interested is all

 

TBH I would rather support a small business like ZiiP for the sake of two pounds.

I think i might go a head and order it tomorrow

 

I believe ShopTo has free royal mail first class delivery for all

but yes I agree, supporting the little guys is also very important

For Portugal, its either Amazon.co.uk or DVD.co.uk. The deliveries are made in 3-5 work days. All other UK shops that I tried took 2 weeks.

 

Test Drive Unlimited 2 is £12.49 at D2D for today's special offer.
It's not a fantastic game, but still quite good fun when you play with a group of friends. In no way as amazing as when the first one was released.

 

For any people who haven't played Mount and Blade Warband it is a great game, and for £3.99 I really do recommend it

 

Anyone know the download/install size for mount and blade warband? Steam has listed 100mb but I find that incredibly unlikely.

 

I think it might be something like that from what I remember when I tried it, regardless, as pieface said, it's a very good game, well worth £4
Tempted to pick up the complete pack for £14...

 

Mount & Blade Warband is 886MB in the actual folder.
The original Mount & Blade is 607MB in my Steam folder.

Although, to play warband do you need the original, or is it a standalone game? Cos otherwise there was no point me buying the original aswell really was there

 

No point at all.

It's a shame because Taleworlds produced a top quality game and a lot of good will but they seem to be doing their best to alienate their own fans by producing expansions to the original game and selling them as full games.

 

So, I could have just bought the newest expansion?
The expansions include everything in the previous games?

is dragon age 2 any good? never played origins or 2. never looked into it either. i see it's just came up for sale

 

Dragon Age 2 is 16.99 including delivery on the ZiiP Gamestore at the moment.

I haven't played it myself, but have been tempted. Would like a good solid hack N slash RPG.

 

i was JUST about to say how i would rather buy from steam as then i would have it straight away, but, i just remembered i downloaded GTA : Episodes so.. i think i'm gonna grab a Xbox / PC gamepad tomorrow and play that first. so yeah i think ill get it from ZiiP just because of it's damn good price

whats the story behind this ZiiP site anyway? i feel i'm missing out some information on how this new site came about

was also thinking of getting it, but the offer of getting mass effect 2 free wen you DA2 is now over, so will wait till its much cheaper

 

i just bought it off that ZiiP store. the price is pretty damn good imo. only thing i'm waiting on now to appear on it is Fallout New Vegas for around the same price as Amazon (£13 - £14) and i'll grab it there if i can.

 

It's £12.99 including delivery at play.com while DA: Origins is £9.99 at Steam.
