    I bought the Indie pack.

A.R.E.S. fun shooter in the vein of metroid (and the main reason I bought the pack)

ATZ - Joe has reviewed this.

Swords and Soldiers - side scrolling RTS game (bought this previously, and it's also good fun).

Capsized - only played the demo so far, looked interesting but not sure I would have bought it outside of the pack

Haven't played Machinarium yet and again I'm not sure I would have bought it outside of the pack.

Action pack (Haven't bought this as I've already got 2 of them (Gridrunner, Zombie Driver) and only interested in 1 of the others (Starscape))

AaAaAA!!! - supposed to be pretty good, but doesn't look like my kinda game.

Gridrunner Revolution - Shooter, OK but not brilliant.

    Metal Drift - haven't played

Starscape - sort of like an updated Meteors (with a tech tree)

Zombie Driver - Top Down carmageddon like game - drive cars round and kill zombies by either running them over or shooting them with car mounted weapons while rescuing surviors. Fun.

Enjoy point and click adventure games?
Time Gentlemen, Please and Ben There, Dan That! for 75 pence. I personally love the humour. Practically stealing at that price.

Still unsure if it is worth your seventy five pennies? Ben There, Dan That is actually entirely free here: http://www.sizefivegames.com/games/ben-there-dan-that/
Give it a go, see what you think. TGP is similar, but more fleshed out and polished...and it has Nazi Dinosaurs.

    Homefront for £14.99.

But I'm guessing most people will say it's still overpriced at 50% off.

Who's played it - and is it worth the cash?

That's my question too. Specifically the single player - I can't see me getting into multiplayer on this one.

I think the general consensus is that the single player is awful scripted nonsense but the multiplayer brings it up a little, probably not a solid choice for you then.

single player is rubbish and MP is more or less dead and full of hackers. i would avoid if i were you. May be worth a go when it's 5 bucks or less which shouldn't be too long from now.

Just bought Quantum of Solace up off Steam for £3.40. Still got another 3 hours or so before the offer expires. Bloodstone is on offer for £10 but with a metacritic score of 63 I'm not paying that much for it.

RPS just reminded me in its bargain bucket article that it might not be smart to buy anything full-price on Steam right now.
Why? Because we're at the start of Summer, and if last summer is anything to go by those of us with low willpower are soon to have our credit cards molested by painfully tempting deals and ridiculously cheap games on Steam.
The funny part is that when Valve do those promotions I end up spending more than I ever would without the promotions, despite the games hitting crazy-low prices.

I haven't actually seen anything concrete to suggest that Valve will be repeating the Summer stay-inside promotion that they did last year, but let's hope so. :)

So true. A slight problem with a summer sale might be, that there're only so many games we *have not* already bought in an earlier sale. Games worth buying, that is. :)

:hehe: Yup. I haven't even downloaded/installed over half of the games in my Steam library yet.

Hydrophobia: Prophecy - £2.25 Midweek Madness

    Has anyone played this?

Reviews range from 9/10 to 3/10.

But for this price, who cares? It's got to be worth a shot.

True... but I did that for Day of Defeat and never played it again after 2 mins!

How about you buy and tell us what it's like :D
