I have 12 tickets now but none of the stuff really interests me, it's mostly just useless cosmetic tat. I wish they would have some more substantial content available for a few more tickets.

STALKER CoP + SoC for £5.74
    Wow.

Does anyone know if it's possible to just buy these games without downloading Steam?
Reason being is that i'm currently at work and this offer will have ended by the time i get home. I obviously can't really download Steam on a work's computer.

You can buy them now, and then download them when you get home.

    Arrr, missed this.

Bought Stalker CoP and Stalker CS though...

Deus Ex 2 is considered very weak...a must play before number 3 comes out? soon?

There will probably be an encore day at the end (sunday) so there's a chance F:NV will come back!

    My needs are very humble.

All I want is COD: World At War for less than £14.99.

In the meantime, is Anomaly Warzone Earth worth £4.49?

I'm guessing yes, and this month's PC Gamer loved it.

Nothing I like the look of so far. Wallet 1 : Steam 0

Obviously everyone always complains about this, but in truth its likely because we are all seasoned Steam gamers and have seen many sales before this.

I’d say that its often the same games that come up over and over which is a shame, for example, I’d love to buy the Alien Breed games, but they’ve never come up in the sales (to my knowledge)

Hmm, I was looking around an I notice that Uplink and Darwinia pack is only £2.99. I'm trying to persuade myself to buy it even though I only want Uplink.

Grr, damn steam sale, tempting me to spend my beer money.

BTW, anyone know what Hacker Evolution is like?

Is CoD4 worth playing? I have only played the first of the series which was fun but a bit 'noddy' -- no real need to engage brain. However, CoD4 seems to be very highly acclaimed with a metascore of 92 which would usually mean it was at least worth having a go.

On Deus Ex 2 -- it is not really worth playing for it's own sake. Not a bad game and okay if you are in Deus Ex withdrawal; but it doesn't add anything to the original and actually subtracts quite a lot.

Speaking from the SP experience only - I love it.

It is linear, but its production values are superb and you get to take part in some exciting set-piece battles, not to mention one gripping cinematic (which I won't spoil for you by explaining further).

Many people on this forum loathe this game however, (or at least MW2 and BLOPS) so you can get a more balanced view by listening to their opinions too.

But unlike them, I believe in COD.
