I enjoyed the sp, didn't get on with the mp. Though i did sell my copy for a tenner about 12 months ago so it might be worth looking on eBay for a cheaper copy, its probably not the sort of (sp) game you'll play again.

Steam is a bit confused today:

Far Cry for 2,49€
Far Cry 2 for 4,99€

Buy pack now for 9,99€

*calculates* yeah, nice try

 

Got Just Cause 2, Trine, Wings of Prey and Batmanman:AA so far and have barely spent 15 quid, loving the sale Thinking about buying lfd2, but wondering how many people still play it?

 

Not in pounds it isn't. Dirt cheap too. Are they both worth getting?

Edit: well actually, the pack is 1p more than the individuals combined

 

They messed up like that on the Bad Company 2 pack as well earlier in the week.
I think they may want to look into getting someone who can do maths to price up these deals. :\

 

Yup, loads still play LFD and it is a total bargain at current prices. Get the first one as well if you don't have it.

 

Still alot playing l4d2, i've never had a problem going straight into a full lobby and playing.

 

Another one here! The MW 1+2 sp campaigns are damn good fun IMHO. Not worth full price though - too short for that.

The original is, the second one is a sequel in name only and is a pile of excrement.

 

So far I've just bought a 4 pack of Lead and Gold and gifted out the extra copies randomly, probably one of the best £1s ever spent.

I've never played Killing Floor - What are the prevailing opinions on it? Tempted at a fiver.

Same for Prototype - Is it worth a tenner? My gut says no, but I've been waiting since its release for the game to go cheap so I can give it a bash.

 

Killing floor is great, just please don't wander into the higher difficulty servers too early or you'll get yelled at. The community is very sensitive about people not pulling their weight.

About prototype i'd say no.

 

Much point in playing Far Cry if I've just finished Crysis?
