At £2.50 it should be a pretty straightforward buy. At 5 EUR (roughly twice the price) not so much. Game looks kind of fun, though. I remember having a lot of fun with its predecessor, RTCW. Can't believe it's been more than 10 years.

I said I'd sleep on it and buy it today. Got busy unexpectedly and missed the opportunity. :sigh: Ah well, can't have wanted it that badly.

Perhaps in the summer sale. ;)

Anyone spotted Alan Wake for cheaps? £27 in Amazon for the special edition isn't bad at all, just thought I may as well check in case I've missed something!

£22.99 on Steam plus you get it now instead of waiting for the retail release date and you get the Collectors Edition DLC if you buy it before the 23rd.

Yeah but there's so much shiny with the boxed version... Plus I'm tied up enough with Ac:Brotherhood and BF3 atm, I can wait a little while for it, just wondering if there were any bargains to be had! I've just had it recommended so often, plus I was so damn excited about it before it was a 360 exclusive.

I bought it on day of release via steam. Very impressive so far. Looks great in stereo 3d.

There is 66% of Serious Sam, including Serious Sam 3 for £10.20.

Is Serious Sam 3 worth it for £10.20?

    Thanks

Based on the reviews I would say no. I really wanted serious sam 3 not to be a failure.

    Although....

    http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/serious-sam-3-bfe

The metacritic user feedback is interesting. Very high percentages of likes which is unusual. 120 positive versus 5 negative.

So maybe it is worth a go.

Thanks. I think it might be worth a shot at that price. Will think about it and maybe buy over the weekend.

I enjoyed Serious Sam 3 once I got past the beginning, which tries to poke fun at modern corridor-flashlight-shooters, but in the process is a modern corridor-flashlight-shooter.
