Multi Latest Steam & General Gaming Bargains: Read first post!

Any in particular I should be on the lookout for? I'm always up for better graphics layered on excellent gameplay.

 

I was just going to use the HQ mods listed on Wikipedia


I heard The Nameless Mod was supposed to be excellent as well. I'm not too keen on total conversions though.

There are a lot of kids games on sale if any dads/mums out there hadn't noticed.

 

I've got physical copies of both Deus Ex (non-GOTY edition, though) and Deus Ex : IW within reach (even closer than 1.5 metres ) and even though us "Continental Europe" residents have to pay a 50% markup (5€ vs £3) I still went ahead and took advantage of the offer.

I'm not sure this next entry is a bargain because I haven't played it and the discount is 10% which to me is neither here nor there. However, the movie looks good and the number of Steam achievements is off the chart.

I think it's basically SOLDAT with nice graphics. SOLDAT was a pretty good game.

 

Was SOLDAT the open-world blow-****-up-with-tanks game?

No.. it was a fully 3D game.. had really long version numbers (as if that would help) because I kept trying to crack it (my brother lost the disc >.>) but there wasn't a crack out for the update (which had a stupidly long number).

Full Rockstar Pack: £30 Includes all the GTAs (even Episodes from LC), the Max Paynes, Bully, Midnight Club etc.

Vice City was £1.50 for two hours earlier, apparently there's gonna be plenty more of those kind of deals all week.


On a side note...I crumbled and bought L4D2 lol

 

Got L4D2 and Mass Effect over the weekend for 20 bucks a pop. L4D2 is a great addition to the series. I'm enjoying the new weapons, uncommons, and levels. I'm also making progress into Mass Effect. Time to see what all the hub-bub is about. (so far I think the shooting is crap)

 

I think I only need Bully to complete my collection. Hope I get that v v cheap!

 

Not that fussed about Bully myself... I guess maybe for £1.50 I'm hoping I'm at home if and when they stick a -75% on Episodes!

 

Anyone have bully for P.C.? Looked interesting on PS2 but i never got it and i heard the p.c. version has/had some issues
