If its majorly cheap -- I enjoyed it, but it's a largely linear experience.

A lot of Crysis 1 stalwarts (Naming nobody in particular, Gunsmith :p) around here will probably say no.

    Edit: Oooh -- 400 posts... spam++

C2 is worth it. It looks great in DX11 with the textures and the game is ok. I've yet to see the superior graphics of the mods for C1 the C1 worshippers were talking about some time ago. When I asked them for video link they went silent.

Spotted that, I'm going to wait until it is in a proper sale before buying otherwise I don't think I'll get my moneys worth.

Why was Crysis 2 ever off steam?

It's a long story. Look elsewhere to find it. (Ea; Take a running jump.)

i'm surprised that you like C2 feathers, especially since the gameplay is more console oriented. The gameplay is what really matters at the end of the day and i find C2 comes up short.

Yes, I can see where you're coming from. Dumbed-down console game. Big mistake on crytek's fart. Extremely linear and I guess we can say it's COD battered with Crysis coating. I liked C1 enough to complete it when it was released. I like some of the elements of C2 but of course I know it's not a great game.

On another completely different note I watched a video of metro last light... Maybe I will give metro a go again.

    New Humble Bundle

Has to be one of the best I've seen

    Amnesia: The Dark Descent
    Psychonauts
    LIMBO
    Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP

And if you beat the average price you get Bastion.

    Sounds bargainalicious to me :D

Bizzarrely, what most appeals to my out of that lot (aside from apparently being DRM free) are the soundtracks. I'm such a sucker for a good OST... :D (possibly because I get a lot more time for listening to music than I do for gaming recently...)

Picked it up, got payment accepted notification... but nothing from the bundle itself yet about downloads etc. Well, I'll give it a few hours and then send them an e-mail about it.

My email took a little bit longer to come through when I bought it. Probably lots of people buying.

They do come all as seperate DRM free downloads or a joint steam key.

Absolutely awesome bundle. Buggered that I purchased Psychonauts and LIMBO in steam sales recently, not even touched LIMBO yet. Still going to buy it for Amnesia alone.

As above, absolutely great bundle this time. Again though, I already own Limbo and Amnesia so can't justify it.

Just bought my bundle, for £6.50 you can't really go wrong. That was $10 I paid by the way.
I've toyed with getting amnesia and psychonauts for a while now.

Saints Row 3 is £10.19 on Steam this weekend.

Anyone got it? I really enjoyed SR2 but I heard 3 wasn't that great.

Yeah, I do. It's a good game but I didn't really enjoy the Multiplayer/co-op side of the game as it was limited down to 4 players per game which sucked. It has a big open world with plenty of things to kill, destroy, there are loads of vehicles to customize. Other than that, I would definitely consider buying it if you are into your open world/sandbox shooters. :thumb:
