I went from playing to battlefield games to trying Arma.

Jumped in a heli expecting it to be completely different from bf3 flying but oh dear it was awkward.

Plus dying from like one gunshot got old real fast.

Stuck to BF, more my style :p

any game recommendations, getting a bit tired of Battlefiled 4, anything along the lines of Firewatch, Bioshock, anything with a good story, but doesn't take over your life to complete ?

A running theme I'm finding after the GOG sale and now the Steam sale is now there's too many games on sale. :p I have to rely on the highlights section showing me what I might be interested in.

Just noticed that Second Assault for BF4 is free until tomorrow (28th June).

Might be handy for anyone that doesn't have premium for it.

Don't know if it's still on sale, but Soma on PS4 is £6 or £7 in the PS store.

More of a bug than a bargain...Project Cars is on sale on Steam at the moment for £23.39, however the GOTY edition isn't promoted on the game page (at least for me). So here's the link to the GOTY edition for £25.92 - http://store.steampowered.com/bundle/349/

Ta very much, also did the same last week. Have hammered this for the weekend and completed the main story. Good fun for £12.50, looks good and runs well, always did like the aesthetic of mirrors edge. The transition to open world is a bit mixed IMO, Catalyst is at its best when focusing on the core parkour running as part of the story missions.

As is typical with open world games, it is full of filler material, far too many rinse and repeat fetch quests with only time as your enemy. It is very stingy with the time for most of those so expect (frustratingly) to repeat them many times. IT would have been better for them to focus more on expanding the story missions to make better use of the excellent city.
The side missions were good, as was the infiltration of the CCU nodes and bill board hacks, all 3 of those either added to the story of left me with a feeling of accomplishment.

The rest (distractions, delivery missions etc.) are really for obsessive completionists IMO.

Glad I waited, not worth the £50 asking price from the origin store on release...

Green Man Gaming are doing an offer for the Golden Joystick Awards: Spec Ops: The Line, Sid Meier's Pirates! and a randomly-chosen third game, for £1.

I think it may only be for folks who have already registered an account with GMG, as you need to click through an email to get a discount code (otherwise the bundle of 3 games is £25).
