Epic Games are giving a free £10 / $10 coupon to use on purchases over $£14.99.

And you get another one after using it!

So games like AC: Odyssey is £9.99 now.

I barely buy games any more. I have plenty for now and if I ever want one, it'll be cheaper by the time I want it.

Many of us can still be stuck with the worry it'll never get so cheap again. The fact is a game will always get cheaper. And hey, even if Stardew Valley never reaches £6.59 and you end up having to buy it for £8.99, you've 'lost' £2.40, you won't even notice that.

I've paid full price for Stardew Valley three times now (twice on PC, once on Switch) - the game is more than worth it.

£6.59 is a bargain for Stardew Valley.

Today's free Epic game is Superhot which has to be one of my favourite all time games (both regular and in VR).

    Get on it!

I bought it last year for around a tenner, played for an hour maybe, returned it. Didn't click with it at all.

Todays free game from Epic is FTL: Advanced Edition

Also if you haven't used your voucher from them - it works on the first colony edition of Surviving mars so you get the deluxe game and all expansion packs and DLC as it comes with a season pass as well - total cost is £7.67 after voucher applies - not bad for something that would cost well north of £75 at RRP

If you got a Steam gift card for Xmas, add it to your account and you'll get a load of 'festivity' tokens, maybe enough to get a £3.80 coupon.

(Really you get tokens for adding any funds to your account, but there doesn't seem much point to adding £50 to get just £3.80 off. You have a backlog, you know.)

I'm a little surprised that Sony didn't choose to re-purpose their PSNow for PC client to make it a storefront that they can manage, keeping the games tied to a Sony account.

Fingers crossed we get a few other games following Horizon Zero Dawn... like Spiderman, God of War, The Last of Us, Uncharted and Bloodborne.
