Steam emailed me today to say that Firmament has now been released.
As has been mentioned, it looks beautiful.
I did not get the hang of Myst and it made no sense at all to me :hehe:.
Maybe some wisdom of age will help this time round?

Man alive, the combination of the footage and the trailer's music gives goosebumps.

Not sure how cheap it is, as I don't follow the price, but CDKeys has 3 months Xbox Live Gold for £7.49. Works out cheaper than a year, this is ignoring any possible VPN options that might be available.

Can't remember if it was this one or the first one, but I looked at getting one of them and all the reviews said either servers offline or no community any more. Also have some idea this was a big deal because single player was either poor or non-existent?

Sketchy memory! I thought the single player campaign for 2 at least was meant to be okay, so maybe I'm all over the place here, but worth checking. I'll have a look later as I'm quite interested in this (it's on Game Pass as well, just in case you want to try it first).

Tomographic has posted a vid on Youtune this past week, 3 - 4 hours of campaign is worth 3 quid in my book, and another vid for populated hacker-less servers.

Ah, my bad in that case. Maybe it was the first one I read about and they addressed the failings with the second?

As you say, decent length campaign for cheap in what is almost a WH40K-lite setting should be worth a go. But I'd opt for buying it on Steam if it's any good 'cos GP prices are laughably out of line with the competition. Incidentally, if anyone knows how to transfer Game Pass saves over to non-GP purchases, do shout.

In other news and due to much mention of Horizon in other threads, I think the combined edition including the expansion pack DLC is £13ish on Steam as well.

This Nintendo Switch arcade stick has been selling for £25.95 over at thegamecollection.net:

Also supports wired operation via Type-C, so there's almost certainly a way to make it work on PC. Worth a punt at that price.

50% off, and I'm guessing I got a discount for owning the original, because it cost me a paltry £3.74.

Might have to return to the jungle later and play grabby-drowny with the soldiers again.

If you have Prime, Prey is free on Prime Gaming in the form of a GOG code.

For what it might be worth to anyone (and I've heard that might not be much at all), Ghostwire: Tokyo is free on Amazon Gaming/Twitch.
