Oh i forgot to tell you what i actually meant ;D

I meant "will my hardware be safe with a screen that close by?"

I dont know if the "magnetic/electric field" there seems to be on CFT's are in TFT's aswell?

nope EM doesn't affect tft's or so I am guessing as I have a lamp on my desk whenever I turn it on I get a wash of colour over my crt but my tft's are fine

Well, TFT's don't create much EM interference. They don't work with EM fields to get a picture on the screen, so they are pretty much safe in both directions (creating EM and being influenced by EM).
Well, with one TFT heat won't be an issue. The electronics don't create much heat, the only thing that heats up are the backlights (CCFLs, but if you're good enough you can convert it to LED backlight, that'll reduce heat production and power consumption... I've already seen someone doing that).
So you'll have about the heat production of another hard drive or two. A good air circulation will do fine (despite the fact, that TFT's don't come with fans included, so that should make a statement for itself, shouldn't it?).

As for the Screen Cube (or let's call it OMNI-SCREEN) I'm going to do that if you won't(after all it was my idea in the first place)...
But I'll take my time for that... getting 4-5 TFT's the right size and the right price will take some time(I'm watching eBay carefully, trying to find the screens with a damaged backlight, that's easy to fix and they're quiet cheap). Finding the right graphics cards will be the hard part.

Maybe a matrox or two, they used to work great for that sort of thing. Does anyone have a link to where someone put an LCD into the side of the tower, I'm looking to do this now, but no amount of searching has turned up good results.

Make it so that the screens fold out away from the case so that you can see all of them at once.
