Modding LCD cube case mod

Nice forum btw. Im just starting out in my modding.

I am going to build a cube case with an 10.4" LCD touchscreen in the front of the case. I have done some soldering in my day, nothing special though. The one I was looking at was a FDP LDH102T-33. The specs on it arent so good but im gonna be getting it for $50 (screen only). I wanted to know if there was any info I could get on getting the monitor to work like that w/o the back part. Here are some images of what im getting:

Im about to use AutoCAD to design it. The case will be made of plexiglass. Maybe 11-12" each direction. Just want to see if there is any other info I can get.

I'm afraid you cant do anything usefull with it without a controllerboard and they're normaly $100+

 

Controllerboard? Damn. What about with just a normal LCD screen?

Anyone have an ideas to improve the layout and airflow. Just need to make it look good

And any other info on LCDs in the case.

 

Have the side fans as intake and the top as exhaust. Remember, heat rises.

 

Ah yes. I was thinking id have it on the bottom so it could pull the heat away from the cpu easily.
