I've just got hold of a small LCD for the front of my shuttle SN41G2. Unfortunately it's wired for parallel port, and the shuttle dosnt seem to have one. However i have seen somewhere that the port is optional when you get a new shuttle....does this mean its there internally somewhere? and i cna wire my lcd to it? if not is there some kind of simple way to convert it to serial port or something? Thanks!
The parallel port header is on the motherboard to the right hand side of the ICE block, right behind the serial plug on the back (on a 45G). As I think it's a parallel jobbie, you'll need to buy the shuttle parallel kit to hook it up unless you're lucky enough to find a plug and wiring diagram somewhere
