    Hi guys.

I'm trying to locate a 7-10" LCD that runs on a 5V line.

Found this one, but reading the specs I'm not sure if a 12V line is required, or if it takes both 12V/5V.

    Can anyone here tell?

It takes 12v and uses a DC-DC converter to supply the rest of the voltages it needs internally.

    Quizz,
I think your going to struggle to find a monitor that uses a 5v line as most use around 12v, including all the in car ones...
The closest things i could find that come close to what you are asking for are:

    1. Lilliput monitor: UM900-NP/T which is a 9" IPS display with HDMI input and powered by a UBB DC 5V 500mA line.

    2. Hack a Motorola Atrix Lapdock as shown in the Instructables guide for a Pi to Lapdock connection but these are 11.6" (you specified 7-10") and come with a keyboard/mouse.
