Hi guys...! I'm from a Spanish modding web, Hard-h2o, and my English is not too perfect. I've got a problem with an LCD of a Game Boy Color, beacause I've not a guide to do it. I hope that I can conect it in a "LPT" port, in the printer one... ¿Anybody can help me? (Si alguien habla mi idioma, se lo agradezco)
Hi BeWiLD-H2o! First off, welcome to the forums. Read the rules, enjoy your stay etc. The answer to your question is, unfortunately, no. The GB screens need a complicated control involving a weird refresh rate like a CRT. If you read the LCD FAQ you can find out more there. _C
Thanks Doble_C. I said I'm Spanish... English is not well for me... I can write two or three lines... but too much letters for me are a nightmare... That is a good Faq for LCD, but ¿Why you said that the GB screen need a lot of things... like a CRT screen? ¿Have you got an scheme?. If an expert can help us, (we are a lot of people of Hard-h2o with the same problem), we will be thankful for helping us PD: I repeat... my English is not good... is a "bazofia"
Hi, I don't know much about the GB screen, so it would probibly be better if an expert replied to this thread. When I mentioned a CRT, I meant that the picture on the screen needs to be constantly refreshed. Unfortunately I do not have a schematic, as I don't know much about the screens. Sorry, _C
