    hi all don't know if this is the right section to post in so if not please tell me.

    ok i just found a lap top screen in my closet and and was wondering if it can be hooked up so it can work on my computer as a second monitor the screen is a SHARP LM64C142 9.6" if that makes any differents

    i most thankful for your help in advance

    Sigh, not this question again. We really need to sticky this.

    General consensus is, that without the appropriate (proprietary) controller, it's going to be either A. impossible or B. ridiculously expensive.

    If you do have the controller still, there's the fun task of finding out how to interface it with the VGA signal to get it to work.

    Scared yet? :p
