I found a HD44780A00 Controlled LCD Screen in an Old fax and i wanted to connect it to my computer using Parallel Port or Serial port but i dont know how to make the connections ....it's a 2x20 and the model number is SHARP LM20255. It has 16 wires. I searched on google for schematics but all i could find was... pre-made serial lcd that you only have to connect

    Thanks in advance

Are they numbered in any way? One pin will normally be labelled "1" or something.
