yer just found that it was 30day trial or whatever....15% off.... is that 15% off the MO LCD and software...or just 15% off the MO LCD? or 15% off LCDC.... if the last..how do i order LCD with 15% off :$ And how does this work with LCD using a serial backpack? any ideas...
Is there a cut down freeware version?? looks v. good though!! does it support Parallel LCDs (ie non MO).
well. ive downloaded the thing and am going to try it on my lame arse maplin lcd seeing as im poor and cannot afford a MO display unless someone wants to donate the prize from the wallpaper comp ill get back to you ppl and see if anything werks 8/ although i doubt it.
Just to clarify, you can pick up just the MO display at the discounted price, or just LCDC at the discounted price, or both LCDC is shareware, and fully worth registering : its the best LCD software out there by far, and, like Henry says, tailor made for MO displays.
It should work - I used a very early version of LCDC with a Milford Electronics LCD with serial backpack, and I believe the Maplins ones are identical. It just a matter of buggering about and creating your own defintion file for it. If you look on the LCDC site links page, it has links to articles where people have got it going with other displays other than MO (BGMIcros I believe). The only problem you'll have is that you'll probably get no support from Mat, as the software has been taylored for MO gear. Having said that Mat's a nice guy.... If you ask, he may give you some pointers. [EDIT] Woo Hoo! 500 posts!!!
id have to say when i first started using LCDC and i didnt know how, i wrote quite a bit to mat and he was a great help.... mat keep up the good work...brilliant software there....
Just registered.. its well worth double its cost.. Ive tried about every lcd software out there, and this blows them all away, combined.. Nice work matt.. -scoob8000
I cant seem to get it to display anything. I set the dir...put the right files into the right dirs...I dunno what I seem to be doing wrong
