    I'm so glad there's actually a site that compares a 6800GT SLI setup to the new 7-series. Your "playable" opinions are definately different than mine though, I found SC:CT 1600x1200 HDR playable on 6800GT SLI. But it's not the fast-action shoot-everyone type of game so lower framerates are more acceptable.

    Still, I'm wanting to upgrade to a 7800GT(X) more and more. I'm thinking 2GB would be more important though first, considering what I'd be coming from graphics-wise (and I do more than gaming that eats ram)

    Any chance of getting some framerates? "playable" is a pretty broad term ;)

    For the most part, it is playable at 1600x1200 - there are a few parts that disagree with 1600x1200 HDR on a 6800 GT though... ;)

    The confusing graphs with frame rates were removed for a reason - because several forum members 'asked' for them to be removed. If you read the paragraph directly above the table, that will give you an idea of the ballpark of the frame rates - they're above that 99% of the time and +/- 1fps here and there if they're under it.

    If you could buy the Leadtek 7800GT Extreme for cheaper than the XFX 7800GT, would you?

    I ended up getting the XFX anyway. The cheap leadtek was out of stock and while I could have gotten it for the same price as the XFX, I liked the software bundle of the XFX better.
