Up until the previous patch my experience playing league of legends was fine and I couldn't work out why people were complaining of lag or dc all the time. Now it happens to me... all the time. I haven't changed any settings on my pc personally but the first time it happend my edimax wireless card went loopy and had to be reinstalled + the pc needed restarting before it would attempt to co-operate. I can't help feeling that a bug has wormed it's way into something - but I don't know how to test for this or what to look for. Are there any tools I can get hold of that might help? Really sucks because I used to love lol now it's becoming painful very fast.
I randomly get throttled in the game. I'll be fine than all of a sudden my ping will shoot up to 600 for 20-30 seconds and I have a huge delay. Than it comes back down. It's wierd because I can play 2-3 games just fine, come back an hour later and the next 2 games in a row I continuously get throttled, doesn't happen in any other games though. I think it's something on their end, last few days have been experiencing more lag than usual from myself and others. If you think its something malicious give malwarebytes anti-malware a try. Its free and has never let me down.
I agree, the last patch (maybe the one before it, i was away in between patches so didn't play) has started giving me (and a friend) lag spikes, although not at the same time. My screen will freeze and i'll have no clue what's going on, but my friend's game will be fine. I can still input commands which are followed in real time (my friend directed me to safety) but my game won't update until 5/10/20 seconds later.
