Why didn't you just lay these two pieces on top of each other and do them together?

    :D Thank you Shurika

It's good to be making some again :D cheers Paslis.

    :D Cheers kidmod

    Thanks AK71

I doubt they'd have turned out accurate if I did :D plus they'd have been extra nasty to do.

Me too but hell no I'm not doing that again any time soon.

Just acquired a load of this 2mm thick brass hex mesh stuff, more than I'll ever need lol, this is 1 tiny sheet of it & there are I think 4 much bigger sheets of it. :eeek:

Also got started on the htpc back panel. :)

Was going to get back to it but thought I'd better relax & slow down before I make myself ill  I'll start back up tomorrow, cheers jokkos. :)

    :D

:D Yeah, but for self future reference I think I'll stick to thin material that I can fly though when doing heavy cut out work, cheers quizz_kid. :)

I’ve cancelled any ideas of the prolimatech aluminium fans, they seem rather noisy from the youtube videos I’ve watched even on their slowest speed, I’m thinking akasa apache fans & akasa venom fans for this now, don’t want weak fans but don’t want loud ones neither & think the akasa ones get the perfect balance.

Woke up with clear intentions to complete the htpc back panel & keep pressing on with the build.

My dad mentioned about shifting some stuff from the garage to the cellar the other day but today I overslept a bit & he decided to shift most from the garage to the cellar so instead of making things I had to just go with the flow since he made it into a sheet tip again lol so carried the kitchen unit cupboards & draws & work top over & put them along the wall, still need to remove the shelf above it else having a worktop there will be useless.

So yeah I'm back to sorting the cellar out & get it all nicely functional again at this point so no progress today with having to do this.

Ohh I know that feeling, best intention ect... but a change is as good as a rest and it maintains frendships with peeps around you. It's all to easy to shut yourself off from everyone when doing this kinda work, especially your marathon. It is looking very good though and I'm looking forward ...no scrap that comment.... I'm aching to see the panels fitted
(buy those fans too, you know you want to)

Have to say I also like those panels even more when their one over the other, creates a cool effect.

I keep entering this thread to see how you are doing. I feel like writing something every time I'm in here, but it's the same couple of damn words that cross my mind every time!

Beautifull, amazing, stunning, insane, idiot (in a good way) etc...

Just keep it up, this IS a MOTY contender, no doubt!

Good work man, looks seriously intense.

Great work on the cellar too, nothing works as well as an organized workspace
