    :hehe: Cheers jokkos. [IMG]

Thanks Cleveland I'll try to. [IMG]

Notice the thumbs up guys thumb is bleeding? :D I was just cutting some bread with my bros super sharp global knives & took the tip of my thumb off, was very much a YOU BA***** moment :D about 3mm of the tip gone or hanging off rather, cleaned up, disinfected, pressed the floppy bit back on becuse it was still attached just about & plastered now. :waah:

I'll try to continue though. [IMG]:hehe:

I cant belive how much time you have spent infront of that scrollsaw hand how fast this project is moving forward. It's looking really good and I guess your pretty happy with that machine investment.

    Amazing man

Great detail Waynio. This build makes me think of some type of aluminum pagoda. Incredible work and patience. You're making me want to shop for a scroll saw for future builds, lol

:D Thank you Gnu yeah very happy with the scroll saw. [IMG]

Just got the mini-ITX mobo, 8GB RAM. :D

Installed on the mobo tray & powered up to make sure all is ok & it is, the RAM goes perfect with it too, it's got the sweet efi bios on it too. :D

Hopefully the tip missing from my thumb won't prevent me from carrying on, was only a 3mm loss but will need to be well covered when doing anything for a bit while it repairs, just glad it wasn't more than what it was. :)[IMG]

:hehe: It didn't actually take it clean off but was left dangling & could feel the weight of it :worried: but cleaned up & disinfected carefully placed it where it should be, pressed down on it & wrapped it up, maybe it doesn't want to leave  we'll see :D hope it can get reacquainted nicely, if not it's gonna suck pulling the rest of it off. :D

I have to say it's the nicest looking & built mobo I've had in my hands. I usually get unlucky with Asus boards, not this time.:D

:D I only came to bit-tech in 2009 but been into computers & consoles since the early 80s when I was a little kid, I've been into PC's since about 1998, the modding bug got me properly in 2008. :D:dremel:

You guys are all old  So ironic. You never got cut with the scroll saw (even with the DON'T DO IT LIKE THIS pic) and u go cut some normal stuff with normal tools and get cut. Shows you where you would rather be at :D

:D I felt it neded a little boost plus I did the loose fit yesterday & felt the need to show it rather than a bunch of 2d parts, that must have been getting old to some, my fault for doing a loose fit to check it out  but at least it wasn't a super zoomed in picture showing a smidge of it kind of tease. :hehe:
    Thanks Angel [IMG]

Your only old when you believe your old :D Yeah it cracks me up thinking about all the precarious things I've done with power tools & then it's always the normal living things I damage myself on  funny. :D

Damn sexy motherboard. I never even noticed the thumbs up smiley man's thumb is bleeding... doh.

So far this week, I've been burnt, cut, glued and probably have acrylic dust in every orifice. I tell you what, I have a new appreciation for anyone who attempts a scratch build. Hats off to you Waynio! It's looking fantastic!

An ITX board and 50 pounds of aluminum? -Crazy!:D You will miss that bit on the end of your thumb. Trust me.

@Combatus - Now you know why you shouldn't work on plexi in the nude. There's also a higher risk of nicking things you never want cut.

Nice quality heatsink on it too, it's impressive, glad I bought 1 while they had stock (had 2 left when ordered) seems to be getting a little harder to find.
Just re-dressed the thumb, looks like it is repairing itself ok but I'm taking a couple days off to really let it recover so I'll use the time off to get the rest of the parts printed & stuck ready for the rest of the pieces & check assassins creed brotherhood off the to play list :hehe: so the time off won't be wasted & I'll be able to get right back into making this. :D

Burnt, cut, glued & dust ingestion, not badly I hope, I'm going to buy some dust masks, they aren't perfect but they will prevent some, got some sweet safety glasses that the workmen left behind when they were doing the cellar flood prevention, much better than my old ones so shouldn't have the problem of steaming up glasses when using dust masks. :D
    Cheers Antony. :)

 Thanks kidmod, really is the best quality mobo I've had & the efi bios is a cherry on the cheesecake. :D

:D Thanks quizz appreciated mate, tiny time out though while the thumb recovers. :)

 I know, heavy ass case with mini-ITX wtf :D I'm hoping it will stay on, it was dangling so not completely gone, probably should have pulled it off with it being an old part of me but didn't want to so stuck it back in place after cleaning it, I'll keep re-dressing it & keeping it clean each day to keep an eye on it, amazingly there is still feeling there on the piece I stuck back down, very lucky.

Can only imagine how hard it must be to lose a thumb or any part we rely on to get by.
