Okay, so i'm taking a homemade baybus and using it for case lighting LEDs. The question I have is, where should i put the resistor for the LEDs? Should i just use one, inline coming straight from the PS (5V) before the bus or multiple ones right before each LED after the bus. And try to back it up with the theory, i just can't quite grasp the right answer...Thanks!

I think it depends on how many leds and rated wattage of the resistors.

6 total, all the same voltage of 3.5, possibly 7 with that. I have 4 pairs of connectors on the bus, one LED on one, two on the other three. 1/2 watt resistors with 5% tolerance...i took a freakin electricity and magnetism course...didn't quite cover this...

If all the LED's are the same voltage and are connected to the one input then you only need one resistor on the input. but make sure its the right value. If ya wanted to you could use seperate resistors but why bother.
