Electronics LED fan moddin LEDs

    hey
    I have a LED fan with 2 blue and 2 red leds in.
    I want to change the red to orange. Was hoping on using the current holes and wiring.


    Can I just change the red LEDs to orange.
    The problem is I don't know the voltage going to the red LED's

    look at the wiring; if the fan receives all of its power from a 3pin fan header, then most likely it's getting 12V (in fact most led fans I've seen use 12V for leds and for fan, there's a resistor in there somewhere for them

    on the fan is there a ribbon pcb going round the outside of cables straight from the leds to the middle?
