Modding LED help!

    Can i connect 2 LED`s to the activity led instead of only one? Or will that overload something? Or will the light get very dim? Cause i want to add one to my res:)

    If you add them in parallel they should be fine.

    Not completely sure how the brightness will be affected though.

    In parallel the brightness shouldn't be affected at all.

    Wiring in parallel cuts the current in half and therefore should make the LEDs in theory half the brightness (kirchoffs 1st law)... physics student...

    This is in theory but in practice there is a current where the LEDs don't get much brighter so if your system is already higher than that current dimming should be less.

    I will try this and find out... good luck. Remember, always run a resistor... :baby:

    Ok, thanks! I managed to break one leg off the LED before i even got it in there. Damn! :waah:
