    Yes, I've found turbo mode to be gay. I only connect to my dedi server now for all my L4D needs

    Smoke really ought to do something, either damage or disorientate, otherwise it only serves to give the smoker away and offers no benefit to infected teams. Either make it do something, or get rid of it.

    Infected are already pretty powerful as it is, adding even more would create unbalance..

    True, but if boomers can be effective even after death, I see no reason why a smokers "smoke" should not. I doubt highly it would be unbalanced, you would just learn how to deal with them.

    Sure it can, smokers would make it a point to die in place where the smoke can't be avoided

    Please list off specific areas in the game where players would not be able to avoid smoker smoke.

    Corridors.
    :duh:
    There are plenty in No Mercy, mostly towards the end, where you'd have to rush through the smoker's smoke.

    Lol? You're kidding right? Any corridor will do, as well as the elevator, smoker blows up in elevator, and then the suvirvors take damage while they wait for elevator to move. At the finale, blowing up at the top of the building with the turret will make it tough for the survivors.

    I can see more people getting pissed off by this than not. It would be game-breaking almost.

    I dunno, if it dissipated within 10-15 seconds it'd be a really cool feature, forcing survivors to hold open ground against chasing zombies and trying to shoot oncoming ones through the smoke until it cleared. It could be interesting. The penalty for going through it would have to be carefully chosen, though, as too much or too little a handicap would make it either zero-impact or game-breakingly unfair.

    They've already made the smoker better, they've boosted the tank, and they made the boomer rain down bile is it blows up above the survivors. A well organized infected team can wipe out a survivor team easily. I don't want to see more weapons given to the infected.

    The smoker is about stealth and picking the straggling member anyways, it's not about attacking a survivor openly and being in the way, so giving it this passive attack would change it's role because then people would bring it out in the open and not try to use it's tongue strategically.

    New update, here are the details:

    I'm in favour of the gameplay changes, but I'm glad the melee fatigue only seems to apply to Versus and not to campaigns.
    It'll be interesting to see if it applies to Survivor mode or not.

    Now they just need to fix witch-capping. It should be sneak or fight...
