Build Advice Lenovo G565 What RAM can I use?

I have a:
Lenovo G565 / AMD Phenom II X3 N830 2.1GHz / 4GB / 500GB / DVD-SM / 15.6 inch / Windows 7 Home Premium / Laptop / Notebook

and am having trouble finding info on what Ram is can take. Comes with
4 GB DDR3 PC3-8500s 7-10-F2

I am trying to find info on what is the highest speed ram it will take.

Thats a good start, but what I would really like to know is if it can take advantage of 1600MHz ram as its pretty close in price.

BTW how did you find the model number on crucial? Was it hidden after choosing Ideapad?

 

No, it will only take up to 1333. You could put 1600 in it, but it would downclock to 1333. There'd be no way of forcing it higher.

got the ram from the link, cheers.

Now to find a bios that lets me unlock the 4th core
