Tweaknews takes a look at another PC60 that's had a face lift:

Hmmm - is it me or does this scream Decpeticon?

"As one of the few pioneer companies to create and mass market the aluminum case, Lian Li Industries has always been known to have THE best high quality aluminum cases on the market. A little over a year and a half ago, I had the opportunity to review the Lian Li PC-86 Black Aluminum Computer Case and found it to be a great case. Has the quality gone down hill over time? Has the company taken the cheaper approach their new models? You will find out in this review.."

    :blah:

don't like it myself, the stealth drive cover is nice touch, not keen on that cut out shap for the 'neon' glow

    Vile, totally vile.

Coolermaster and Lian-Li have gone dramatically downhill recently.

    totally.

If it didn't have close up pics from all angles of the fascia, I'd have said it was a potatoshop. For a website who claims to "provide a platform for computer elite (not l33t) with useful information", they're review seems somewhat amateur. Not to the kind of standards like bit produces imo.
The fan thing... hmmm now let me think... the reviewer states you need balance or you get circulation. Right, so he wants another fan. He seems to forget he's about to install a PSU, which nearly all have at least one fan these days, frequently two. Where's the balance in that ffs.
He also recommends installing hdds in the floppy cage if you only have two. Personally I think that's madness, your hdds are better off cooled and if you only have two then they hardly obstruct airflow in the pc60.

But also, he manages to miss the fact the case is fugly  . Somehow there is a fine line between a pleasing gimick and tacky.

    Alaric.

I'm not sure on this, the case is nice but the 'neon' cut-out thing looks really tacky.
