Well today hasn't gone as smooth as i had hoped for it too X( !
I hit the workshop today with great intensions of creativity to poor through my finger tips into my work and create the greatest mod ever to known to man, beast and what ever else so happens too breath.
Now after several different ideas and designs for my res's i had fianlly come up with the perfect one.
A short res on the top, and a longer one underneath.
This way i can still fill the bottom one without having to remove either of them.................
    size difference
    [IMG]
Then i took them out side for some final preglue leek testing, and just as i put them on the bench dramma, look closly..................
They took a trip along with the bottom of the box they were in to the floor, oh well :(
Then i thought id move over to the pumps and polish up the " chrome " on the rear of them that have the Danger Den logo on them.
    _bad_ idea........

I should have taken it out before attempting to polish it then i wouldnt have run into this.......
they are just a thin layer of plate, over the plastic spacer >.<.
oh well mirror plexi will save me tomorrow i think ~

well thats all for now guys, c ya again tomorrow ^_^.

Well today i got goign on the rear pump covers with acrylic.
i think they turned out quite nice =D
    [IMG]
then i got on to making the new top panel were the lcd is housed.
and then onto a new front piece.
This time ive opted for what i was ment to do in the first place, and thats have the fan off the flloor of the case ~
    [IMG]
off to the ever so trusty drill press
    [IMG]
and a nice 111mm hole for air flow again ~
    [IMG]
next up was a mobo > front panel cover.

    after some quick measuring
    [IMG]
    and then cutting and fitting
    [IMG]
next on the plan is too sort out the cables for the power and reset etc.
    with these beauty rca plugs.
ill be using the silver ones of course XD.
Now ive just got to decide were i want them entering from in the case.
    or here
    [IMG]

    thats all for today guys.
Ill try and get to bed before 5am so i can be up early too please all you modding buffs =D

feel free to leave all comments and sugestions in my comment thread

    updates :)

i was pretty gutted over the res, but ive made so many though out this mod, whats another 2.
The csp mags are quite simple little pumps really, and the rear backing plate comes off with a little screw driver and presure.
cheers Frodo, i follow your work and its great to have comment from u XD!

    ....just a minor _bored_ update.....

Well i should have been in bed, but this case had the better of me, so i went down to the garage and satarted working just after midnight :D.
Ive now managed to get the rear acrylic pretty much finished.....
ill have some more detailed shots once tomorrow, or when my rad's turn up in the mail :)
But i do tomorrow have to do a little adjusting as somewere down the midnight lines i miss calculated a little which is easily fixed
    [IMG]
I then thought out the mobo jumpers and cut the length of xtra wire ill need to reach from the top of the case
    [IMG]
around the rear, and through the bottom of the floor...
and were they'll meet the rca board on the other side of the front acrylic
    [IMG]

well more updates tomorrow guys =D

This afternoon i continued working on the jumper rca's as i was this morning.

I was going to try and find some chromeish type of tubing to use but in the end used some 8mm tubing that i got from a good buddy of mine, cubik :).
after a little bit of measuring and drillign we get this
    [IMG]
i forgot to take pictures as i was a man on a mission :p
then it was onto the floor
    [IMG]
and off to the drill press for some more drilling
    [IMG]
and some were in between all of this we get this result
    [IMG]

now ive still got to solder all the connections together, and trace them underneath the top floor, which is what im off to do now.
    untill the next update, c u ^__^

Alright guys loads of pictures for what ive done today :)

I started off with the new rad box today.
and as always al little measuring :p
    [IMG]
straight off the jigsaw was a solid fit
    [IMG]
next off was to grab one of my rads which turned up today
    [IMG]
sexc ant it ^_^, and huge compared to my bip3
    [IMG]
now this is how i wan tit layed out
    [IMG]
but before i did any cutting i had to make sure that i was goign to be able to also fit the 2nd rad ( when it arrives ) at the rear of
the case at the same time as the pump and rad being mounted.
and with the rad and the pump inline the floor rad wont fit by 30mm, so i had to get freaky with the front of the case
    [IMG]
so off it was too attack it with what little cut off disk i had left
    [IMG]
but still did the job ;)
now with that done it was off to grab the hole saw and get to work on the base
    [IMG]
theres no point to having the holes aligning in the floor like they are, but hey why not :p

yet again more measuring, this time for the top of the rad box, and yet again more clamping and holesaw action ^__^
    [IMG]
now with the holes cut, and the sides ready to be glued ( ive made the sides 30mm in height ), it was time to do jsut that
    [IMG]
and off to the router for a quick routing 8)
measures up nice with the chrome shroud of the rad
    [IMG]
next it was onto the lower rear panel for some measuring, drilling and test fitting
    [IMG]
and with the rad mounted in the rear it should look like this....
    some more holes
    [IMG]
    some countersinking
    [IMG]
    and some more mounting
    [IMG]
Now for the side panel, ive gone off the idea of the fulll ength acrylic and opted to keep the orig panels in place.
now this required a little upside down work ^_-.
with these slots it allows the side panel to fit into place just as it would being on the other side, up the right way :)
now ive struck a tad of a problem and thats to do with the crystalfontz display and were ive mounted it..
as u can see u cant see it :p
but after a little cutting we get this
    [IMG]
and then i also had too mod the insde area too aloow the acrylic to fit.[IMG]

and also to the top panel
    [IMG]
done some more measuring and cutting and its a good fit
    [IMG]
    with flash
    [IMG]
    and without
    [IMG]

well guys and gals, thats it for me today.
time to go jump in the shower and get ready to go to work.

dont forget to leave your comments in my comment thread, and have a great day =D

:) cheers for the positive feedback guys.
I myself cant wait to get this beast up and running, still waiting to clear my $$ with the graphics cards, and yet to finalise what memory ill be running.
Im tossing up between some Gskill pc4400, or muskin redline ( which i have ).

Im going to fine tune the top window today if i can, as im not to happy with the way it looks.
Thinking of putting the window on the outside of the case, or covering over the mounting holes and using double sided tape from the inside for a nice clean finish.

Im still waiting on my 2nd rad too arrive from alphacool, and my TDX block from dangerden, which should be here this week. Its little parts liek this that are making things take some much longer, as i dont want to paint the case untill im sure that everything will fit.

So untill the next update, cheers for the replys, and hits on the log.

I got back to work on the side panels today.

I decided to get the lower side panel fitted up which went quite smoothly. I had too remove 60mm off it in order for it to fit.
and straight off the jig saw i got another great fit :D
    [IMG]
starting to come together nicly i thinks, i jst have to get onto a design for the window.
and then i thought it was off to fix the eye sore
    [IMG]
i decided to make it an equal lenth from side to side and round the corners for a better look
    [IMG]
next it was onto the top panel again.
When the mofo tray is in place it over laps the side panel...
so to counter this ive removed an edging off the side panel, and left little tabs for screwing,
    [IMG]
and while fillign the edges i slipped and split my knuckle open
    [IMG]
nothing a little plumbing tape cant take care off :p
    [IMG]
and withthe panel in place i marked around the tabs for cutting of the acrylic.
    and a good fit
    [IMG]
and then i also had to do a little modding to the insde front panel too allow the side panel too slide all the way along.

well thats it for me today guys, time to get ready for work :)

well a few of the water blocks have arrived yesterday, but im still waiting to hear when my other 2 dual alphacool nexxxx rads will get in the country.
All i need is one of the rads then i can finally move onto sorting the loops out, and then start the frame work touch up / bog work, prime, paint, and bling bling.
And id like to thank gary at sidewindercomputers for sending me out barbs that i require for my res's, awsome customer service and help A++, cant wait for them to turn up :)
Ive taken the covering off the acrylic and will have some teaser shots up in the next day or two ;)
but for now ill leave u with this......

see u in a day or two
