Don't know if anyone here has already seen this new conconction from Lian-Li. Every once in a while someone at Lian-Li must really lose all common sense ("Burj-Al-Arab" anyone), but this one takes the cake. I'd say they took a leaf out of Antec's "Skeleton" book, but found that concept a bit too wishy-washy.

Still looks like it would collapse if you put a decent sized heatsink on it.

Someone should mod it with motorised legs. True mobile computing.

I can promise you 7/10 techies couldn't be arsed to mount a motherboard while testing if it works and of the remaining 3/10 2,5 wouldn't use this over-engineered waste of space. Besides, it's still just a mini-ITX, which alone makes it a silly product.

...Which is a bit like winning a coma-patient in a boxing match. :wallbash:

You have to look past the 'before you eyes' and add a mobo tray with thread-less stand-offs. That way a professional who wants a mobile flexible unit, can fold it up PSU and mobo tester attached, call at the customers place of work/house and can appear to take good care of their expensive motherboard and CPU.

    Just an idea.

I simply dont care, I would buy that case in a second if it went on the market.... girls will think your cool and have sex with you if you have that case (and tell them you designed it) they will NOT do that with an antec 902 regardless of the cooling potential of the top mounted fan

no matter how you shake a stick at it, it's still only an mini-itx format, which for most people (99%) is useless.

most who bench use itx or large motherboard

Good Lian Li promotional material/case :thumb: it's just what it needs. It's not a serious "case".
