My first thought when I looked at the shell case, is that Lian Li have created a 2 foot high snail !

 

Ya Lian Li just doesnt feel the same like they use to, I mean they really have lost the edge in the market, years a go it use to be Lian Li or nothing but now, most people dont even mention Lian Li when they talk about case options, its sad really such excellent build quality, even price aside.

 

You sure? To me the difference seems to be that Lian-Li isn't the ONLY option any more. Not with Silverstone, Coolermaster 840 etc to choose from.

 

I always thought the the original V1000 came out around 2004 with the Mac Pro styled case after (2006?). With this in mind it's no a mac pro-styled case the Mac Pro is Lian Li styled.

 

I need a v1020. To those who are saying its red, check out the case in the top right background of this pic

I've a lian li v1000+ next to me and sweet jesus its the best chassis ive ever worked in.

pricey but ****ing so worth every coin.

 

Which I'm sure explains why none of the Custom PC Dream PC contenders have (to my knowledge) ever used a MM case, yet plenty have used Lian Lis?

Also most people realize that a steel case is just as good and can look really hot. no reason to waste money just to have a specific material. it is the overall design that counts.

I own a Lian Li myself and they are not perfect. far from it. this one didn't even come with rubberized HDD mounts. Lian Li did skip out on that with some models.

Silverstone has delicious designs!

 

Bindi, now that you've got easy access to Lian Li (well, sort of ) could you please ask if those wheels on the V-Series can be replaced with their regular HiFi-type case stands? Also, how about a version of the PC-P50 with a flat top like the PC-8FI? Thanks in advance!
